Hi, my name is
I have lived most of my life in Central America and the desert southwest of the United States. I have always been called to the lands of the original peoples. These are places of great magic and mysticism.
In the late 1980’s I moved to Central America with my husband who was from El Salvador. My husband, a civil engineer, was on the board of directors of Del.E.Webb corporation, the largest home builder in the United States. He built hotels, some of Central America’s most challenging road systems, municipal piers, commercial office buildings and as the first person to bring pre-stressed concrete to the region, the construction of many bridges. With his engineering background and my love for design and construction we had many projects together to include building three houses and designing a high rise executive apartment. I then began my own adventure into property development and had the opportunity to work with many of Central America’s finest architects and designers.
It was a great honor to have been on the board of directors of Visionmakers USA under the direction of Wayne Bishop who was one of the Master Minds of the famous Penninsula Papagayo project in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. I also worked alongside Ed Alegre current CEO of Colliers International for Latin America and Jon Pugh well known for his creative design of famous places such as the shops at Caesar’s Palace, Rainforest cafe and even Disneyland rides. It was a time of great learning and a crash course in using sustainability as the forefront of the design process.
After my husband died, I went to the U.S. and continued my love of construction and design and remodeled a home in Scottsdale, Arizona and then designed, built and sold two multi-million dollar homes in Sedona, Arizona. My love of architecture and design and construction has brought me to MU where I plan to live and love and thrive in this place of great diversity and beauty.
The Story of Mu
It is believed that a continent named “Mu” existed between the Pacific Coast and Indonesia millions of years ago. The Islands of Hawaii are considered to be the northern outcropping of this continent and Easter Island is the southern evidence. It is suggested that MU is the ancestral home of mankind, the place of the beginning of human’s existence on planet earth. The people from there are called Lemurians. When the continent sank, the habitants scattered to the east, west and north. Many of these habitants were the original indigenous peoples of South America, Central America, the American Southwest, Indonesia and India. The core beliefs of the Lemurians were a sense of harmony and living on a higher spiritual level. These were our cosmic ancestors whose origin was Mars, Pleiades and Sirius. They were the original shamans and vibrated at a very high frequency. Some chose to be water beings, like the mermaids, others chose to be part of the animal kingdom. It is believed that whales and dolphins are the Lemurians that adapted to water after the sinking of the continent.
The Lemurians were also masters of the knowledge of the crystal world. They knew way before Silicon Valley that information could be captured and stored in crystals and they scattered their special Lemurian crystals around the world, so that their story would never be lost. We are all descendants of the great societies of MU. You may even have subtle memories of a past life there. Perhaps you are part of the team who at a soul level is devoted to creating this harmony on our planet now.
My love of crystals is my foundation for all of the homes that I build. To each project I bring an extensive collection of crystals that I form into a grid for the home and property to create a special harmony in tune with nature and its surroundings. Living at MU immersed in this crystal energy, you know that you live in a special place.
Mu Costa Rica is based on the world and principles of Lemuria. It is a place of clear water and mountains full of crystals. A paradise, garden of eden type of feeling where we are one with nature and we see everything around us as sentient beings. A place where we communicate with the trees, flowers and animals. Where crystals pound out a frequency of love and healing.
About the Location
Several months ago, I heard the call of the whales and I knew that I had to take an adventure to find them. I flew into San Jose, Costa Rica and began my journey down the pacific coast. After two hours I found myself driving through miles and miles of palm plantations.
I peered out in the distance and saw Cano island where more beautiful beaches and sea life abound. I could hear the sound and voices of the whales as I ventured further into the depths of this remarkable place.
I was beginning to doubt that I would find the essence of MU, but I kept going. I then reached the Baru river and crossed the bridge and the energy shifted. The jungle on my left came cascading out of the massive mountains and met the ocean on my right. The coast line was pristine, no high rise hotels, just the simple huts of local fisherman dotted the beach. I stopped at the local supermarket and found it full of local farm products with everything organic and healthy, not a cheeto or dorito to be found!
Holy Kombucha, had I found the garden of Eden? I continued on to see tropical flowers everywhere, peeking out of the dense jungle and beautiful homes clinging to the side of mountains.
I began my search for the perfect property. I spent several days venturing up into the mountains to find my MU. Nothing clicked for 4 days and I was sitting in a very cool coffee shop feeling certain that the perfect place would appear.
My realtor called and said “I found something for you”. He picked me up and we traveled up the mountain side to a place called Costa Verde Estates. It is a private gated community located in an area called Escaleras (meaning staircase or ladders) as yes, it is a very steep ride to the top of the ridge. It is one of the finest areas in the Dominical/Uvita area to live in, and truly the next frontier in luxury real estate. There are many multi-million dollar properties dotting the landscape on large parcels. We went to the end of the road and turned onto a ridge and drove to the edge of a lot and stopped. The property looked down on the whitewater of Hermosa beach and to the left was the famous whales tail, jetting out into the surf. The destination of the whales.
As I was staring breathless at the ocean, a couple of Toucans showed up in the tree I was standing next to and sized me up. I sensed their curiosity. Since I have written a book called The Shaman’s Guide to Power Animals, I knew that the presence of a Toucan meant happiness, to let go of the past, always go forward not back and that it is time to move on.
I knew I had found my MU.
So let me tell you about my MU
The total area of MU is approximately 20 acres. There are two lots, I have my own project on one of the lots and the other lot for sale. The lot that is available is 565,506 Square Feet ~ 12.97 Acres ~ 52,527 Square Meters. These lots were the first lots ever sold in Costa Verde Estates. There is approved water and electricity and fiber optic internet available. The building permit and design for a two-bedroom guest house is ready to begin construction. There is also plenty of room for a main house built to your own specifications.
