Many visitors have likened this setting to the Amalfi Coast of Italy and Kauai. Overlooking the breeding grounds of the whales and the truly world class sunsets there is no better place to experience the gifts of nature.
With 5 star furnishings throughout, you can cozy up on the plush furniture or chairs, just in time to hear the jungle symphony of the squawking from the family of Toucans that live near by. The house is at a high elevation which means, no pesky bugs, light cool breezes (yes you may need a sweater) and the crashing of waves immediately below.
The house has two large master suites and a mini master suite all with en suite bathrooms and double sinks. Two have outdoor air bubble bathtubs.
A heated swimming pool takes the slight chill off in the evenings and an outdoor kitchen is great for an evening barbeque.
Casa Citrina does not suggest furry friends due to the numerous animals that roam the area and the stress on the pet as well as numerous Costa Rican requirements to import a pet.
The kitchen will impress any gourmet cook with all you need to prepare the perfect meal.

If you are coming to work, everything is ready! Computer monitor, fiber optic high speed internet, solar energy to guarantee a back up in the case of energy outages and abundant wi-fi throughout the property.
Organic fruits and vegetables when available from our permaculture garden are often left at your front door and you are always invited to visit the bamboo greenhouse that is always bustling with seedlings.
We offer maid service twice a week for an additional fee. Your wish is our command for any local support that you may need during your visit. We also have a Toyota Prado we can have you picked up from the Quepos airport and brought to the property to begin your vacation trouble free. We can assist you with your tours and breakfast is included if you want it at SIBU Cafe which is a ten minute drive. We have intake forms to fill out if you wish and can assist in your rentals, tours, meals, etc. All you need is WhatsApp and we will have on site and off-site people help you make it a rare and unique experience.
Wildlife wonders never disappoint at Casa Citrina, Toucans are guaranteed for happy hour and monkeys often stop by. Bird watching takes on a whole new meaning and walks through the neighborhood are never without something new to discover.
THE JOURNEY TO CASA CITRINA
Casa Citrina is located in the Costa Verde Estates Neighborhood. This is the most prestigious address in the area. It is also the perfect launching pad for visiting some of the most spectactular waterfalls in Costa Rica. From Casa Citrina you can see the Diamante Waterfall, Costa Rica’s largest. A ride through the backroads will take you to the Nauyaca Falls.
You are also next door to an abundance of organic farms and permaculture. Farmers Markets offer a healthy experience and lots of fun to seek out exotic fruits and vegetables.

About the Owners
The owners are experienced Costa Rican travelers and homeowners. Overlooking the breeding grounds of whales and the sunsets over the Pacific Ocean, there is no better place in the world to experience a life of living in the jungle. The owners were end users of this magnificent, one of a kind property, and decided to share the experience with their friends, business associates, and select guests.
You are next door to the Osa Penisula, one of the world’s most biologically intense places on earth. It is home to half of all the species in Costa Rica which is a staggering 2.4% of the entire biodiversity of our planet. Your lungs will fill with the oxygen of the plant life as you marvel at the collection of wildlife that abounds. Monkeys, Toucans even Jaguars still roam the dense forests here.
Enjoy the cool breezes at these higher elevations that keep you comfortable without the high velocity of other beach locations. Enter a world of few footprints and make your own brand of love and life. There are no human infiltrated sounds except for the jungle, the Earth, and any weather.
